Department of Health and Human Services, annual healthcare expenditures were estimated at $2.7 trillion in 2011 and are projected to rise 7.4 percent in 2014. Healthcare organizations today are spending a significant portion of their revenue acquiring the supplies and services needed to support their operations. The Council’s Third Annual Healthcare Symposium focuses on identifying appropriate diverse suppliers, hospital purchasing departments, hospital and healthcare systems executives, government agencies and committed Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs). “The Council is pleased spotlight business growth opportunities in the burgeoning healthcare industry for our minority suppliers.
