But if there are large quantities in the system of a child, iron can cause liver damage and scarring of the stomach and intestines.

Detriments of overdose of vitamin

It is important to realize that an overdose of vitamin, in some cases, can cause more severe reactions such as seizures and unconsciousness, permanent damage to organs and even death. If your child eats a balanced diet and healthy, there may be a need to give your child a multivitamin every day. If you decide your child needs a multivitamin supplement, keep the bottle out of reach. Educate your child about the dangers of taking more than one every day, even taste like candy.
