Saint Monica University Partners With Concepts College of London

BUEA, Cameroon - Sept. 7, 2013 - PRLog -- Saint Monica University: The American International University today announced that it has partnered with Concepts College of London. The partnership is expected to bring thousands of foreign students to study at the SMU ground campus in Buea, Cameroon.

“This is a strategic alliance between the two institutions, which is designed to increase recruitment of foreign students into SMU,” said Professor Januarius Jingwa (JJ) Asongu, President and Chief Executive Officer of Saint Monica University (SMU). “We have a huge facility in Cameroon, which can accommodate thousands of students. Given that our current enrollment is still in the hundreds, we have the ability to host many more international students.”

According to the partnership, Concepts College with offices in Abuja (Nigeria) and London (United Kingdom) will recruit international students, especially from Nigeria, to attend SMU. Concepts College estimates that it will be able to recruit thousands of students who will like to study at the SMU ground campus in Cameroon. To encourage the recruitment of students from other African countries, SMU has decided to offer local tuition rates to international students who come in through Concepts College. Moreover, international students coming to SMU will be guaranteed accommodation on campus. The SMU campus also hosts the Mount Cameroon Sports Academy, where students interested in sports can do so while accomplishing their educational goals at the secondary and high school levels as well as at the university level.

Marcel Okechukwu Ezenwoye, President of Concepts College of London. “SMU is an excellent institution given its academic programs, facilities, and international dimensions. Concepts College selected SMU to work with because we were impressed to find students from various countries attending the institution. It will be easy for our students to integrate in such an international community. SMU also has lecturers from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, India, Pakistan, South Africa, Nigeria and a host of other countries.”
