Subaru Achieves the Best Sales Month in the Automaker’s History

There was an astounding 45% increase from August of 2012, with a staggering total of 41,061 vehicle sales in the book.

With year-to-date sales running at 29.3% higher than the same period last year, Subaru is poised to rack up their fifth consecutive year of increased sales.

That is a remarkable achievement for the Japanese automaker, and can be directly linked to the huge showing of the 2014 Subaru Forester, which alone has accounted for a whopping 13,163 vehicles sold. The new Forester has received wide acclaim and a number of accolades, such as being named the top-scoring small SUV by Consumer Reports.

Other Subaru models that are selling like hotcakes are the sporty BRZ with 6,784 units sold and the Impreza sedan with 868 units sold, representing record-high August sales for both models.

While these three vehicles in particular have registered a record-setting showing for August, there has been a strong demand for all of the models across the Subaru lineup.
