HONOLULU - Sept. 6, 2013 - PRLog -- On Thursday, September 26th, 2013 join corporate communications firm Lawrence Blake Group Int'l. (www.LawrenceBlake.com) and the arts education pioneers at the Laroa Artflow Foundation (www.LaroaArtflow.org) in recognizing twenty of Hawaii's most innovative small businesses at Innovative 20 Hawaii. Innovative 20 Hawaii will feature live entertainment, a special keynote speech, delicious cocktails, and fine cuisine at an award-winning Chinatown arts space, ThirtyNineHotel (www.ThirtyNineHotel.com). Innovative 20 Hawaii has chosen small businesses to recognize based on the level of inventive products, creative services, and monumental nonprofit movements that business owners chose to partake in this year. Innovative 20 Hawaii is proud to benefit arts education for at-risk Hawaii youth via the efforts of the Laroa Artflow Foundation, an organization that regularly supports arts programs locally. Innovative 20 Hawaii will feature works of art by popular local artists available for sale, with a portion of proceeds benefiting arts education programs locally. Recognized small businesses will be announced shortly.

Innovative 20 Hawaii 2013 will be hosted by Miss Hawaii U.S International 2013 winner Gwendolyn Kenwright. “Winning the national title means being able to the seriousness of child abuse to Americans. Every Minute, a child somewhere in America is abused. Physically. Sexually. Emotionally. But the most upsetting statistic of all is how often abuse is witnessed and ignored. Felt the forgotten, but an abused child never forgets, and neither should we. Being able to reach at risk youth to make an impact in there life in a more positive way”, says Gwendolyn.

Innovative 20 Hawaii will be hosted at Honolulu's ThirtyNineHotel, an internationally recognized Chinatown art gallery and award-winning cocktail bar. ThirtyNineHotel is located at 39 N Hotel St Honolulu, HI 96817. Innovative 20 Hawaii begins at 7 PM, early arrival is strongly suggested. Guests are kindly asked to consider a making a minimum donation of $10 to support arts education programs locally.

“Our goal is to encourage the cultural and personal growth of our communities by using art as a catalyst and inspiration for change. To do this, we promote local artists, cultivate our local art scene, and support the artistic development of our youth. Through our network of artists, family and friends, we are currently sharing the Laroa Artflow throughout Maryland, California, Hawaii and Nicaragua. The Laroa Artflow organizes and promotes community-based art shows. We sponsor emerging artists and share their art with the community. We then use the proceeds from our art shows, along with the donations from the public, to fund community-based artistic development and any other deserving missions we adopt along the way”.
