West Suburban Community Pantry presents “Chef’s Continental Challenge”

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Sept. 6, 2013 - PRLog -- The West Suburban Community Pantry announced today that they will present the “Chef’s Continental Challenge” on Sunday, October 6^th 2013 at the Chicago Marriott Naperville. This year’s culinary theme will feature classic French fare and will showcase the talents of the executive chefs from the Chicago Marriott Naperville, the Westin, Rosebud Restaurant in Naperville, Seven Bridges Golf Club and the College of DuPage Culinary Institute, respectively.

The chefs will prepare a variety of classic French appetizers, salad, entrée, and desserts that will be voted on by the attendees. A silent auction, guest mixologists, wine pairings, live music and other surprises will enhance the evening. A cocktail reception begins at 5:00 p.m. followed by the dinner and auction at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $125.00 per person (or $1150.00 for a table of ten) and will benefit the West Suburban Community Pantry, which offers food for the hungry and resources to empower persons to improve their quality of life across DuPage County.
