LIGHTHOUSE PROPERTY INSURANCE CORPORATION HIRES NEW EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT

ORLANDO,FL - Lighthouse Property Insurance Corporation (Lighthouse) is pleased to announce that Scot Moore joins the company as the new Executive Vice President, effective September 30^th, 2013.

“Scot is a great addition to our growing company, and I look forward to working with him, as a key member of the Lighthouse team,” said Ron Chapman, President of Lighthouse. “His extensive background in the insurance industry combined with his experience in accounting will provide us with the opportunity to further our growth and business capabilities, as a company.”

Scot’s accounting career began as an Auditor and Audit Manager in 1986 with KPMG Peat Marwick and has worked in the insurance industry for the last 19 years. His various positions throughout the years include Vice President of Accounting and, until recently, the Chief Financial Officer for St. Johns Insurance Company, with over $250 million of premium, primarily in homeowners insurance.

He is a graduate of Stetson University in Deland, Florida and has a Bachelor of Business Administration, Cum Laude, Accounting. He also completed his Master of Accountancy in 1986. Scot is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Additionally, he holds various insurance industry designations including the ARe and AIAF.
