MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Sept. 16, 2013 - PRLog -- Beverly Hills -- Nashville -- New York -- Memphis, TN -- The most popular show band from Memphis, Seventh Sundown has stepped out in a true heartfelt show of generosity.  The band Seventh Sundown has agreed to help a paralyzed American veteran acquire their latest album project so that he doesn't have to pay for it one song at a time on iTunes. The band, which is made up of Jeff Cobble (lead guitar) Matt Robinson (Lead Vocals) Stan Smith (Drums) and Sam Flagg (Bass Guitar) heard about Rod Nelson’s family wanting to buy their latest album project.

Nelson who is paralyzed and in a wheel chair is a devoted Seventh Sundown fan.  He has called this latest music project the most sincere and emotionally touching album he’s ever heard.  Nelson was in the hospital this past week to have part of his foot that was severed removed by doctors. *www.seventhsundownband.com

Mr. Nelson just didn’t have the funding left over from his veteran’s disability check to purchase the entire album.  So, Mr. Nelson called the band in Memphis and explained that he wanted to buy the album one song at a time on iTunes.

Rather than make the veteran do that, the band’s Nashville manager, Robert Metzgar bought the album for the veteran and sent him a copy of all of the Platinum Plus Nashville roster’s music.  Seventh Sundown went together and purchased Mr. Nelson the bands music from the roster of their label mates. Other Platinum Plus Gold label mates contributed. www.platinumplusgold.com

“God has been extremely good to our artists and to our label the past few years,” Mr. Metzgar told Entertainment Headline News Hollywood.  We have had more nominations, awards and hit records in Billboard than at any other point in our label’s history.  Seventh Sundown represents the kind of prestigious award winning artists that allowed the subscribers of New Music Weekly magazine to vote our artists and label “LABEL OF THE YEAR” for 2013-2014.

Seventh Sundown has a brand new nationally charted record that has had its debut in Billboard, New Music Weekly and the national SoundScan charts this week in the Hot Country Singles Charts.  Seventh Sundown has an emotional new hit album that has just dropped at all the major distributors worldwide the week of September 30th, 2013.  The band represents the best of country music from Memphis.  It was here that the greatest artists in all the world were discovered and then were launched nationally. www.cdbaby.com/cd/seventhsundown

Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Conway Twitty, Roy Orbison, Mickey Gilley, the Blackwood Brothers, the Stamps and other monster artists were all launched from Memphis with a special “sound” called the Memphis honky tonk blues.  That sound brought these artists to the national lime light.  You can hear that same honky tonk rock in the music of Seventh Sundown.

Their current album entitled “DOWN ON HATCHIE” is the genius of Mr. Russell Caldwell who has supported the band and their recordings and has helped back the band’s music endeavors.  Mr. Caldwell served as Executive Producer of the hit album out at music stores now. Written by Jason Fiveash & Seventh Sundown, the single release is out on Platinum Plus Gold, the most awarded indie movie, video and audio label in Nashville.

Published by  SONY ATV Songs LLC, the single release is on the #1 publisher of country songs from Nashville for the last 30 years in a row.  The band and their legendary Nashville manager, Robert Metzgar (Hall Of Fame member since 2003) have mailed the single to 2800 radio stations worldwide through CDX distribution in Nashville and also through The Orchard in New York.  For further information on booking the biggest show band in Memphis at your next music event, see the listings below:
