ONTARIO, Calif. - Sept. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- Greater Ontario will become California’s mecca for art and culture this fall when Art Splash 2013 coincides with the Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion – two events setting off a spectacular lineup of revelry and celebration Sept. 20-23.

The Art Splash festival takes place from 6 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Saturday Sept. 21 in downtown Ontario – capping off the second night of one of the nation’s most extended vintage auto shows: the three-day Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion.

“Southern California is celebrated best through its cars, music, artists and fine food,” said Michael Krouse, president and CEO of the Greater Ontario Convention and Visitors Bureau. “The integration of the Art Splash festival and Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion makes Greater Ontario the place to be for California culture.”

Art Splash, headlined as “the Big Wave End-of-Summer Event,” will feature more than 100 artists, live music, food and more at the Emporia Art Loft District in downtown Ontario. Sponsored by Ontario Artwalk, Guitar Center Covina, Poor Wealthy Artists and Mofuego, it will feature a range of artistic media – from sculpture and painting to music and culinary creations.

The Route 66 Cruisin’ Reunion, also being held in downtown Ontario, features three full days of classic cars, cruising, contests, live entertainment, fabulous food and more. Billed as Southern California’s ultimate weekend celebration of America’s love affair with the automobile and its world-famous highway, Route 66. Both events are free to the public.
