ATLANTA - Sept. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- Atlanta, Ga. (Sept. 3, 2013) – With a new name, a matured sound and a brand new self-titled EP, Atlanta-based rock band Radio Birds is ready to share their new music. Available today on iTunes, Amazon.com, Spotify and other digital stores, each track from the EP showcases the bands revitalized sound, with a noticeable mix of influence from each member – Colin Dean, Jaz Dixon, Justin Keller, and Chase Lamondo – who are in sync now more than ever before. “The band is coming together and playing as a whole more than we ever have. The creativity is flowing,” said guitarist Justin Keller, aka “JK”.

After three years, two albums, and seven different members Radio Birds is the new name and the new sound of the band formerly known as JK & The Lost Boys.  But old and loyal fans don’t fret – through all the change, the band has remained true to their rock/blues/southern roots, which is apparent from the beginning of the first song through the end of the last.

All members of the band are excited for their new identity to be shining through in their new EP. “We took our influences, both old and new, and really honed in on what made those songs great,” explains guitarist Jaz Dixon.  They are even more excited to have a busy month of shows and bringing their new music to their fans in the southeast.

The release of the new EP is just the beginning of a busy month for the band. They will be all over the southeast promoting the new record including opening for Matthew Perryman Jones at a hometown show on Sunday, September 8.
