Building Owners and Managers Association will host its Developers' Panel to discuss the College Town Project at the U of R, the CityGate project in Henrietta, and the redevelopment of Midtown Tower project. The event is open to the public for $35.

Building Owners and Managers Association of Greater Rochester’s Developers’ Panel

Rochester, NY, September 3, 2013 -
Building Owners and Managers Association of Greater Rochester (BOMA) will host its second Developers’ Panel on Thursday September 19, 2013.

“We are excited to host our second Developers’ Panel,” said Scott Hill, Event Chairman. “It gives our community an opportunity to learn about and discuss upcoming development projects and the impact they will have on the Rochester area.”

The event will be held at the Radisson Riverside Hotel, 120 Main Street East in downtown Rochester. Registration begins at 11:30 AM followed by a luncheon and a panel discussion from noon to 1:30 PM. The cost of the program is complimentary for BOMA members; $35 for all other guests. Advance reservations and prior payment are required and can be made at bomarochester.com.

BOMA’S Panel of Developers and their respective projects include:

Torben Arend of Fairmount Properties, Gilbane, Inc: College Town at the University of Rochester. The College Town project will include the construction of retail, office, residential and hotel uses and several new parking structures and spaces. This development is set to drive the introduction of major businesses including Barns and Nobel into the area.

Brett Costello of Anthony J. Costello & Son: CityGate at the former Iola Campus. The CityGate project is located at the intersection of East Henrietta Road and Westfall Road and will be a diverse mix of residential and non-residential uses including: multi-family housing options, retail, office, hotels, and recreational opportunities.

Larry Glazer of Buckingham Properties: Redevelopment of Midtown Tower. Partnering with Morgan Management, the redevelopment of Midtown Tower is an estimated $57 million project which will include a contemporary mix of office and commercial space on 5 floors and 160 trendy, pet-friendly apartments. This project will be an integral part of the effort to revive downtown Rochester.
