Palace on Wheels journey out its first commercial trip from Delhi

GURGAON, India - Sept. 5, 2013 - PRLog -- The itinerary for the season, Delhi-Jaipur-Sawaimadhopur-chittorgarh-Udaipur-Jaisalmer-Jodhpur-Bharatpur-Agra-Delhi

On Wednesday evening a memorable journey started where the guests will experience Royal Indian Lifestyle, India’s leading royal luxury train “The Palace on Wheels” chucked its first commercial journey with 34 guests from different nationalities.

Mr. Vinod Ajmera the managing Director of RTDC was having a proud moment talking about the progress and the luxury of POW, he mentioned that his team has been working on the guest’s feedback so that they can give comfort and rich royal look to the incredible Palace on Wheels. He further added that they are working on princely lifestyle of the royals in order to give heritage look with the finest in luxury trapping, reflecting the exclusive lifestyle of maharajas.

He further added that all the facilities are being modernized including water purifiers in washroom and other conveniences including superior communication and entertainment. POW was rated number 4 luxury train the world and their focus is to make it even better , redefining the vintage royalty.

The Royal train has 23 coaches comprising of 14 salon and one spa, the two restaurants “Maharaja “ and “Maharani” and one bar lounge. A new coach is been added called Royal Spa wher the guests will enjoy Ayurvedic and Non Ayurvedic massages. This year POW will provide delicious Indian and Foreign Food to the valued guest, added by Mr. Pramod Sharma, General Manager RTDC

Mr. Sudhir Sachdeva Managing Director Holidays to Treasure, was thrilled to see the uplifting of the train , he mentioned it was much awaited and it looks fresh, he also said that best part is they still have old Khatamdaars, who are aware of in and out of the train and will be able to give best services to the guests.
