Adults in Need Will Receive Complimentary Dentistry at Dentistry From The Heart Hosted by Foster Den

BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. - Sept. 4, 2013 - PRLog -- The team at Foster Dental Care is out to change lives again this year by offering free smiles to those less fortunate who need dental work, as they host the latest event for Dentistry From The Heart (DFTH) on September 28, 2013, providing the first 100 patients with complimentary dental services.

The media is invited to join Foster Dental Care and a team of dental professionals and volunteers to help 100+ people in need of dental work - treating patients in need of fillings, extractions and cleanings. Over the past few years, Foster Dental Care has helped many patients in need, and this event will be their fourth charitable Dentistry from the Heart event. To date, Foster Dental Care has helped bring relief to over 335 people, providing over one hundred thousand dollars in free dental services to their community.

Dentistry From The Heart is a national non-profit organization with a simple mission - making people smile. Founded in 2001, DFTH was created to aid those in need - including the growing population of under-insured. This year, DFTH will help more than 12,000 patients and provide millions in dental care.

"Dentistry From The Heart is our way of giving back to the community, and helping people who are in need of dental work," said Dr. Foster.  “Over 29 percent of adults have untreated cavities. Without events like this, dental care simply is not an option for many.”  Last year Dr. Foster and the team at Foster Dental Care were able to treat 120 people by donating dental services to people who otherwise couldn’t afford it. This year Foster Dental Care’s goal is to treat 150 adults.

The event will take place on Saturday, September 28^th at Foster Dental Care located at 2150 NW South Outer Rd., Blue Springs, MO. Starting at 8:00 AM, Dr. Foster and a team of volunteers will treat the first 100 patients, or however many they can service by 4:00 PM. Services provided consist of either a filling, cleaning, or extraction.  Patients seeking treatment must be 18 or older, appointments will be on a first come, first served basis. Patients are asked to bring state issued I.D., a current list of medications, and health history.
