StreetPass NYC Goes Figurine Crazy Assisting with Pokemon Rumble U and Disney Infinity Events

NEW YORK - Sept. 4, 2013 - PRLog -- StreetPass NYC, a popular grassroots Nintendo 3DS fan club in New York City, invites all Nintendo fans in the New York Metro Area to support Pokemon DS NYC's Pokemon Rumble U Meet Up at The Creek and The Cave (10-93 Jackson Ave., Long Island City, New York 11101) on September 8th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Disney Infinity in Toys R Us Times Square (1514 BROADWAY AT 44TH S, New York, New York) the day before on September 7th from 12:00 NOON to 2:00 PM.

The largest Pokemon fan club in the New York Tri-State Area, Pokemon DS NYC, would like to invite everyone to attend the celebration of Pokemon Rumble U exclusive to the Wii U Nintendo eShop on Sunday, September 8th at the The Creek and the Cave (10-93 Jackson Ave., Long Island City, New York 11101) from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

The group will be in the cozy basement of the venue where Pokemon Rumble U (provided by StreetPass NYC) will be set up on the projector for everyone to participate in the kinetic, four player toy bashing action! Players will be able to show off and trade the Pokemon Rumble U NFC Figurines exclusive to GameStop nationwide and will have a chance to win extra random figurines via Pokemon NFC Figurine capsules (also provided by StreetPass NYC) at the event itself. Details of winning these random figurines will be announced on site.

Pokemon Trainers are also welcomed to do normal Pokemon DS NYC group activities such as Funfest, Battling and Trading in Pokemon Black & White and Pokemon Black 2 & White 2, discuss upcoming Pokemon X & Pokemon Y news and more!

The day before on Saturday, September 7, join StreetPass NYC at Toys“R” Us in Times Square for the Disney Infinity Power Disc Trade event from 12:00 NOON to 2:00 PM. This event will give kids and kids at heart the opportunity to exchange their own Disney Infinity Power Discs with other fans and receive special offers on Disney and Disney Infinity products.

We will also check out the dedicated Disney Infinity feature shops at the front of the Toys“R” Us that feature a combination of figures, Power Discs, accessories and more!
