Conflict Corner Tv Resets Program To Dr. Bernice King’s Speech

MIAMI - Sept. 3, 2013 - PRLog -- A team of professionals provide training for the prevention and intervention of conflict and crisis.  In keeping with Wingspan’s mission, its newest venture, Conflict Corner Television educates and help problem-solve some of the latest issues as they relate to families and youth.  The show’s format revolves around a monthly theme topic i.e. domestic violence, youth addictions, sexism, sexual orientation and trauma survival.  The upcoming filming on September 14^th ‘s,  theme is based on a recent visit to Miami from Dr. Bernice King, Dr. Martin Luther King’s daughter.  She explained her disappointment to the audience during a Community Relations Board (CRB) anniversary celebration. Dr. King addressed the legacy that we are leaving today’s youth; that they have not been our priority.  A member of the board, the message left an impact on Priscilla Dames, Executive Producer of Conflict Corner TV and CEO of Wingspan Seminars. The two months being filmed are entitled, Leadership: Enough is Enough, and Strategic Solutions.  Rather than the shows typical interview format, show hosts will facilitate dialogues with leaders from the tri-county and the Keys.  Participants will provide implemented best practices of prevention and intervention strategies that to save our youth from the streets, violence and incarceration. Invited are leaders from the faith community, mayors, retired athletes and community activists. One panel consists of young professionals to lend their opinion from their vantage point.

The show airs on Comcast in the Tri-County and Upper keys.  The September 14^th filming will be at the Miami Shores Country Club, 10000 Biscayne Blvd.744444
