2 Days to Join Bonney Read's Band Wagon - We Want You Now

SYDNEY - Sept. 3, 2013 - PRLog -- Dear friends, family, supporters and music lovers.

Bonney Read (http://www.pozible.com/project/24472) are a 4 piece, all girl (almost) rock band from Sydney and this November they will be recording all their latest tracks, written since the band’s lineup was finalised in late 2012. For this band, this is the real deal.

Six months ago the band was in it's death throws. They are young but very experienced and after 6 years of performing concerts and putting all their youthful efforts and enthusiasm into their dream, and feeling that their efforts where going unnoticed, they were winding down that path of wasted talent like so many before them. Don't worry about those talent television shows, those people that so many Australians pour their hard earned cash into via SMS and television ratings, and cover song royalties that do not go to the performers on the TV screen that so many youth worship, And with all due respect, Bonney Read are far more talented than these cover song singing acts. And they are 100% pure original and their songs are damn good!

So, Blue Tongue Management (http://bluetonguemanagement.com/) set up a Skype meeting with the band before it's demise.  A simple and to the point direct action mentoring program was put into place with the band. Write and continue to arrange your songs was the message. Concentrate on this and nothing else. Blue Tongue will do the rest. Phone calls to producers Mark Opitz and Colin Wynne of Thirty Mill Studio's where made and recording dates locked in.

Two tracks have since been laid down at Damien Gerard Studios, home of The Hoodoo Gurus albums as pre-production tracks and to take the band outside of the self-recording situation and into the hands of established producers in ready for November. And I can tell you, the results are already sensational and are now being dissected by the band. So personally, I for one, cannot wait to hear the results that the band achieve at Thirty Mill.

So, I enticed the band to set up there own crowd funding project at Pozible (http://www.pozible.com/project/24472). And they reached their goal of $5000 which I set for them. I am blown away! And such is the excitement this band are generating. They wanted to set the goal higher and I persuaded them to aim for the achievable. And as you can all imagine 5k only covers the bare minimum on this recording project.
