CHICAGO - Sept. 3, 2013 - PRLog -- Olympia Fields- Francorp’s clients continue to receive recognition as industry leaders setting the pace for other franchise concepts to follow.  Recently, QSR Magazine released a report breaking down the top 50 quick-service and fast-casual restaurants within these respective industries.  In the report, readers can view the company’s U.S. Average Sales per Unit, Number of Total Units in 2012, Total Change in Units from 2011 and U.S. Systemwide Sales, which is the main focus determining the rankings.   Out of The QSR 50, Francorp has worked with nine companies through their full development process, or assisted existing franchisors who sought consulting advice on how to continue growing their brand name across the country.  McDonald’s (1), Dunkin’ Donuts (7), KFC (10), Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen (19), Panda Express (21), Jimmy John’s (25), Culver’s (31), Papa Murphy’s (33), Moe’s Southwest Grill (48).  Francorp’s Chairman, Don Boroian, said, “We are proud to have a hand in helping nine of our clients make “The Dream Team” QSR 50.”

According to QSR Magazine, Jimmy John’s joined the billion-dollar-brands club in 2012, McDonald’s continued its iron grip atop The QSR 50 at the number one spot, nearly tripling runner-up Subway’s domestic sales.  2012 marked Moe’s Southwest Grill’s climb into the limited-service industry’s upper echelon for the first time in the company’s history.  According to the author of the article, Sam Oches, fast casuals fast-casual brands made some gains on this year’s list, with Panera Bread attaining the highest ranking at No. 11 with $3.9 billion in sales last year.  In the article Oches says, “Fast-casuals continue to be the hottest category in the quick-service industry, offering premium foods that are increasingly desired by consumers, especially Millennials”.
