Las Vegas, NV (September 1st, 2013) - The PR Connections Radio Show prides itself on being where the business action is and knowing who is who in the Las Vegas commerce scene. The weekly radio show is excited to announce its involvement in the 2013 Las Vegas’ Largest Mixer event.  This year’s Mixer will be taking place on Sept. 18th from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Texas Station Hotel and Casino, 2101 Texas Star Lane, Las Vegas, NV 89032.

This business mixer is known simply as, The Largest Mixer.  It has earned this name by being one of the largest events where professional men and women representing companies of all shapes and sizes gather for the ultimate business networking experience.  There are no restrictions to the businesses and industries that can partake in this event.  Companies from all industries take advantage of the opportunity to mix and mingle with local and regional chambers of commerce, membership organizations, and local business leaders.  Las Vegas’ Largest Mixer allows people, companies and organizations to create mutually beneficial alliances and relationships that will promote the growth of the local economy.  And who wouldn’t want that!  

Dave Linden, the organizer of The Largest Mixer, is looking forward to this year’s event, “This is our ninth year in Las Vegas.  We love the fact that it is a small town with big businesses.”  He also boasts about the future of these Mixers, “Our focus is quality over quantity.  We want to focus on the growth of participation levels of the business in Las Vegas.  The more exposure, the more people that get involved and the better it is for the business community.”

Guy Dawson, the Host of PR Connections, is excited to promote this year’s event by broadcasting his radio show from the heart of the mixer.  “PR Connection’s role is to showcase participating exhibitors and to bring public recognition to the event.  People who aren’t able to attend the mixer will still be able to a part of it by listening in.”  His show will be airing live from the event on KLAV 1230 AM and klav1230am.com from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.

One of Dawson’s featured guests will be, Mark Jackson.  This name should sound familiar.  Mr. Jackson is a former NFL player, who was a wide receiver for the Denver Broncos, New York Giants and the Indianapolis Colts.

Mr. Jackson may be a veteran football player, but he is a rookie in the Las Vegas business scene.  Over a year ago Jackson opened his own insurance agency called Jackson Chapparo Insurance.  He provides property, casualty, health and legal insurance.  
Jackson is looking forward to the exposure and learning experience that attending this mixer will provide himself and his business, “Being a new local business owner, I am excited to get a pulse of the activity that is happening within Las Vegas.  There is always action on The Strip, but I want to get a feel for what is happening in the local Las Vegas business world.”
