The fact of the matter is, Christopher Signil's book takes a look at how African Americans are planted in two vastly different worlds at war with each other. Signil poses the following question, "Is it possible for African American Christians to reconcile their love for Christ, love for culture and love for country?"

After graduating from Philadelphia Public Schools, he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Virginia State University. He earned a Master of Arts degree in Public Administration from The Ohio State University and a Master of Political Management from George Washington University.

Christopher is an ordained minister and was born and raised in a working class section of Philadelphia and is the son of two full time pastors.
