By: Sine Dubio/Business Lines In recognition of the former (ladies) loo being converted into an Art Gallery and taking a tongue in cheek lead from the most famous art gallery in the world , the new gallery has been called ‘The Loovre’ “The Town Council” says leader Allan Muirhead “has been at the forefront of developing services and the local economy for local people and tourists that come into the area. By developing our facilities and new retail outlets we are helping both the community and local businesses” The Loovre is the brainchild of local entrepreneur and business owner *Mike Marczynski and Sine Dubio Art Director *Sophia Newton. The unit based at 1a Jingling Lane, Kirkby Lonsdale is on a major pathway from the main Square to Devil’s Bridge and will offer original local, regional and even national/international artwork collections, limited edition signed prints and mini prints “Sine Dubio” says Sophia “Is Latin for ‘Art without Doubt’ and the basis of our business philosophy. We value personal relationships, guarantee quality and uniqueness of our artwork and back it up with authenticity and affordability. We deliver with passion and love” adds Sophia “So both customer and artist know ‘without doubt’ the value of our products and relationships” The Loovre open day is on Saturday 7th September during Kirkby Lonsdale’s Big Weekend.
