The 4th Suchitra Short Film Festival Sept 20-22, 2013 at Suchitra, Bangalore

BANGALORE, India - Sept. 2, 2013 - PRLog -- Suchitra Film Society Bangalore, in collaboration with Gothenburg University – School Film Directing, Goethe Institute- Max Muller Bhavan, Alliance Francaise & Polish Minister of Culture, announces the call for entries to the 4th Suchitra Short Film Festival for emerging filmmakers. Entries are due by September 10, 2013. The festival will take place from September 20-22, 2013 in Bangalore. More than 15 countries will be participating. The Entry Fee for professional is Rs. 500, for student submission Rs. 200. (No refund, if the film is not selected.)

Some of the engagements during the festival will be workshops, panel discussions & sessions by Juhi Chaturvedi (Script writer – Madras Café and Vicky Donor, Ramesh Aravind (Actor/Director), Prakash Belawadi (Actor/Director).

This year Suchitra Short Film Festival (SSFF) is allocating Rs. 1, 00,000 worth of awards in the National and International Competition section.

Few guidelines to follow:

1.   The cutoff date for submission is September 10, 2013.
2.   Films should be 30 minutes or less.
3.   Film should be fiction and no documentaries are accepted
4.   Entries can be submitted online.
5.   All movies will be selected for screening by a jury.
