Picture This...Jackson announces fall photography class schedule

JACKSON, Mich. - Sept. 3, 2013 - PRLog -- Jackson, MI – Picture This...Jackson will hold eight camera classes through the end of the year at its Wisner St.  education center. Each two-hour Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) class starts at 10:00 a.m. and costs $35 at the door. There’s a $5 discount if paid in advance. Each class is taught by Michael MacGuinness, a local photography and technology expert.

Sept. 14  - DSLR 1 - Understanding your DSLR

Topics: Mode dials and the basic settings, shutter speed and aperture, ISO, depth of field,  introduction to white balance and more.

Sept. 28 - DSLR 2 - Getting the most out of your DSLR

Topics: Metering modes, auto exposure/focus lock, auto bracketing, exposure adjustment, custom white balance, auto focus modes, focusing areas, and more.

Oct. 12 - DSLR 3 - Lenses and Flash Lighting
