MDE Pickup, electronic collection and transportation company for Lehigh, PA, has opened its doors

ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Sept. 1, 2013 - PRLog -- LEHIGH VALLEY, PA – MDE Pickup, an electronic collection and transportation company, has opened its doors to help encourage the community to preserve the landfills and take action toward keeping the environment clean.  Beginning September 23, 2013, MDE Pickup will be making its way through the eastern half of Lehigh County, PA to collect and properly dispose of electronic waste for residential customers.

Electronic waste essentially entails all items that can plug in or use electricity to operate, including but not limited to computers, video game consoles, televisions, DVD players, cell phones and alarm clocks, and cannot be collected by standard garbage collection corporations.  MDE Pickup provides residents with the convenience of “curb-side” service and the peace of mind that their waste is being recycled and properly discarded without the negative effects on the environment and landfills.
