Software Product Management Training to be repeated early 2014

KLAMPENBORG, Denmark - Sept. 2, 2013 - PRLog -- Product managers in software companies are faced with the challenging task of ensuring that their company's products continuously meet the requirements of their customers and of the market. Aiming to provide software product managers with the best possible tools to tackle this challenge, TBK Academy® is providing the training course 'Software Product Management.' The training is based on the course design and curriculum developed by The International Software Product Management Association.

"A product manager is a 'mini-director' who has to ensure that the product becomes and remains a market success. There is a crying need to improve qualifications in this area, so we have decided to do something about it," explains Hans Peter Bech, CEO of TBK Consult, parent company of TBK Academy®. "Together with Hans-Bernd Kittlaus we have trained and certified more than 100 software product managers from all over Europe within the last 12 months. We are delighted to offer this training again in Copenhagen."

The course provides certification
The course will be run at the First Hotel Vesterbro in Copenhagen, Denmark and is being set up in cooperation with The International Software Product Management Association, which will accredit the certification of course participants.

An international expert is running the course
The course will be run by Hans-Bernd Kittlaus, a former Software Product Manager at IBM in Germany. He has published the book, 'Software Product Management and Pricing', and is the product management consultant for companies such as Lycos, Deutsche Telekom and SimCorp.

The course, covering three whole days, will take place at the First Hotel Vesterbro, Copenhagen. The next course will run 13-15 January 2014 with a maximum of 15 participants.
