Silko Honda Raises Money for Light the Night

RAYNHAM, Mass. - Aug. 30, 2013 - PRLog -- Raynham residents know that when it comes to community events, it's rare to not find Silko Honda involved, and that includes the 2013 Light the Night Walk (https://www.facebook.com/events/147197022140156/). Occurring in Cranston on Saturday, September 28, Light the Night is an event to sponsor awareness for and raise funds toward ending cancer. The walk will take place between 5:00 pm and 8:30 pm.

Presided over by the Leukemia and Lymphoma society, money is raised to help support treatments that are currently saving the lives of patients. Many efforts in the fight against cancer are the kind that are repaid in dividends down the line, but the benefits from Light the Night are going to help save lives right now, not “someday.”

Donations can be made through the Team Silko Honda Cares page, and the dealership is also selling $1 balloons in support in their showroom.

Readers looking to join Team Silko Cares can also purchase shirts for $20, with half of proceeds going to support the cause. The last day to order shirts is Friday, September 6, and they will be ready for pick up the week of September 23.

A celebration of music, entertainment and general camaraderie in the community, the Light the Night Walk is built to unite family, friends, and co-workers in celebration of the fundraising success and to unite under one banner to help combat cancer.
