By: Highline Gourmet on Gore will kick off on Friday evening with the Gourmet on Gore Tasting Tour presented by FirstBank from 6 p.m – 9 p.m. The progressive Tasting Tour offers a great opportunity to taste pairings from some of Vail’s best culinary talent in Vail’s hottest restaurants, retailers and galleries. Tickets are $75 per person. Gourmet on Gore continues Saturday, Sunday and Monday with the main event, the three-day Open-Air Tasting, which takes place along Vail’s Gore Creek Drive and Bridge Street and showcases the Vail Valley’s top restaurants as well as wines, beers and spirits from around the world. Live music, delicious food and superb drinks all meet together during this special event to create a delightful epicurean atmosphere in Vail Village. Local artist Carrie Fell has once again created a one-of-a-kind work of art to represent the 2013 Gourmet on Gore event, which captures the spirit of the event and the iconic scenery of Vail Village.
