Chris Driscoll who joined in July 2013 will lead AccessData’s business as their Regional Account Executive covering Enterprise, Government and Law Enforcement accounts throughout Canada. Chris has spent the last 14 years of his career in IT with the last 5 years focused on Network Security Forensics and Vulnerability Management with the likes of NIKSUN and Core Security Technologies. Chris will be instrumental in ensuring that AccessData understands the needs, challenges, and demands of current and potential customers whether in the Enterprise, Government, or Law Enforcement in Canada.
Luke Brown, Vice President of International Sales stated, “We are very happy about having a top notch industry expert join us to execute our ambitious growth strategy in the region. Recruiting Chris with his proven track record of building business and overachieving results, we are confident we will continue expansion in the region along our main business lines of cyber security, litigation and digital forensics.”
“I am very excited to join AccessData as we see a paradigm shift in the cyber security industry where enterprises and government agencies require solutions that provide them the capability to identify, capture, interpret, and remediate all types of security incidents across their networks to combat today’s advanced persistent and zero day attack landscape,” added Chris Driscoll. “Besides the cyber security sector we see enterprises, government agencies, and local law enforcement interested in our market leading digital forensics, e-discovery, and litigation solutions.”
AccessData has been solving business problems in Canada for 10 years and has seen a strong momentum in the region with key customer wins especially in the government sector as cyber security gets on top of the agenda for the corporate and public sector. In support of the momentum AccessData will participate in SECTor a premier IT security education conference held in Canada since 2007. This year’s event will be hosted at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, October 7-9th in Toronto. Those wishing to participate may register online at http://sector.ca/
