Carlisle Events Presents Swap Meet and Car Corral at Auctions America’s Annual Auburn Fall Event

Aug. 28, 2013 - PRLog -- As 2013 winds down for Carlisle Events, its team heads west one more time to be part of the swap meet, car corral and auction excitement in Auburn, Indiana.  The Auburn Fall Collector Car weekend, August 28 to September 1, takes place at the massive Auburn Auction Park just off I-69, and is powered via a partnership between Auctions America and Carlisle Events.  Throughout the five-day event, enthusiasts from around the world will converge on Auburn, not only for the Auburn Fall excitement, but for the local festivities as part of the annual Auburn Cord Duesenberg Festival.

The weekend opens on Wednesday with a preview day for the collector car auction, a full-day memorabilia sale featuring the remarkable collection of Kirk F. White, plus the swap meet and car corral set-up.  Each aspect of the event weekend affords show goers the chance to see what machines will cross the block or as swap meet and car corral shopping goes, get a jump on the competition and buy a piece or part needed for an upgrade or restoration project.   In addition, a run list will be available, helping pin-point run times for all cars and merchandise involved in the auction, broadcasting live on the NBC Sports Network.  On the swap meet and car corral side of things, vendors will be set up at the facility to move collector cars as well as automotive pieces, parts and collectibles.  Some items for sale are new aftermarket accessories, while others are original and serve as a great way to continue an at-home restoration project.  Further, memorabilia plays a large role in the event weekend. In addition to the full-day sale, there will also be a great array of items available within the swap meet.  

In addition to the auction, swap meet and car corral, family fun comes to Auburn via guests and displays.  As guests go, a handful of popular industry celebrities come to Auburn.  That list includes Richard Rawlings and Aaron Kaufman from Discovery's Fast N' Loud, Wayne Carini from Velocity's Chasing Classic Cars and Jessi Combs, star of Discovery's Overhaulin' and All Girls Garage.  Further, BMX excitement returns via Solution Action Sports and there are monster truck and helicopter rides available too.

By traveling to Auburn for the fall event, Carlisle Events makes its third fall journey and sixth overall as part of its partnership with Auctions America.  Next month, Auctions America returns to Carlisle for its flagship event, Fall Carlisle.  Following Auburn Fall, Carlisle Events has three events remaining on its schedule.  During the weekend of September 6-8, Carlisle hosts its first-ever Sports & Outdoor show.  October 2-6 sees Fall Carlisle wrap the Pennsylvania season, then November 14-17, Carlisle's year concludes with Zephyrhills Fall AutoFest at Festival Park in Zephyrhills, Florida.
