Taste Prince George's Food & Wine Festival Invites Adults to play at Six Flags America

MITCHELLVILLE, Md. - Aug. 28, 2013 - PRLog -- The 2013 TASTE PRINCE GEORGE'S FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL will undoubtedly satisfy all hunger cravings and quench any thirst with an adult-themed takeover of Six Flags America in Mitchellville, Maryland. Taste attendess are encourage to purchase tickets in advance for only $25, which includes access to the park, festival, and complimentary parking. This culinary and cultural event will bring together Prince George's best restaurants, chefs, live entertainment, cooking demonstrations, and competitive eating challenges from 12pm-7pm, Saturday, September 7, 2013.

"I am excited to host Taste Pringe George's Food and Wine Festival in my district," said Prince George's County Council Member Derrick Leon Davis, District 6. "The festival is a celebration of Prince George's County's restaurants, culinary talent, and will serve as a catalyst for economic growth in the county." Taste is expected to draw thousands of area residents and foodies to Six Flags America for the one-day festival.

Musical perfonaces will feature a diversity of local sounds that include jazz keyboardist and pianist Marcus Johnson, a fusion of soul meats garage with Black Alley, R&B singer Reesa Renee, hip-hop/R&B duo The Co-Op2, gospel sensations Soul Messengerz and 7 Sons of Soul, progressive rock-neo group Future Band, the all-female group BelaDona, and the popular rock-techno group Bonnie Rash.

In addition to featuring the best of the county's culinary tastes, guest are invited to experience the Tastemakers Lounge; where mixing and mingling are encouranges. The loung also boasts hookas and hand-rolled cigars in a plush setting inside the park. Attendees are invited to sample an assortment of stations that include Wine and Cocktail Pairings, a DIY Sushi Station, and a Fit and Wellness Pavilion featuring Zumba and Yoga instructions.
