The exhibition will feature Saint Louis based artist Haram Ahn. Haram Ahn will showcase a series of work that consists of vulnerable and graceful characters, represent human frailty, and are susceptible to wounding. Her images are striking and create emotion in the viewer.
The exhibition also features San Antonio based artist Duane E. Hilburn, whose art works are an expression of his emotional experiences through a difficult life of sickness. Hilburn uses mixed media and through his background of architectural design and construction, Hilburn binds together the ties that bind humanity. This mixed media includes barbed wire, metal, sheet rock compounds, masonry mixtures, stucco, stains and paint, all applied to a stretched canvas. His difficult life is personified through his creations that the viewer will be able to experience with him.
Michigan based artist Jennifer M. Hannigan-Green will showcase her work Colorful Expressions, which features colors to express emotions. Using simplistic figures, Green allows us to see our reflection in that moment and experience the emotion. Parts of her life are reflected in her creations.
Several other artists featured will include Jenny Churchill, Celeste Webster, Maureen Hughes, Philly Alex Johnmeyer, PLR11, Shana Norton Amos, Teresa Wise, Dani Sposato, Rebecca Haas, Gina Simon, Evelyn Astegno, Freaky Steve, Pia Cruzaleg, Genevieve Esson, Jeanna M.
