Lamborghini Club America Gala Gets Rave Reviews During Monterey Car Week

COSTA MESA, Calif. - Aug. 27, 2013 - PRLog -- More than 440 Lamborghini enthusiasts and community gathered on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Pasadera Country Club for Surf Air Serata Italiana (http://www.serataitaliana.com), Lamborghini Club America’s 34th Monterey Car Weekend gathering.

The event featured over 25 new and vintage Lamborghinis (http://lamborghiniclubamerica.com/club-news/surf-air-serata-italiana-new-and-vintage-lamborghini-display/) in the beautiful Pasadera courtyard, sponsored by Lamborghini San Francisco and Los Gatos; including Concorso Italiano People’s Choice award winner Raphael Gabay for his 1966 Lamborghini 400GT and Best of Class award winner Mark Jansen for his 1969 Lamborghini Miura S.

During dinner for entertainment, guests got to be a part of a live CarCast show. Adam Carolla and Matt D’Andria captivated Lamborghini owners and automotive enthusiasts alike with their Valentino Balboni (former chief test driver of Lamborghini) and Michael Lock (COO of Automobili Lamborghini) live CarCast interviews.

Andrew Romanowski, President of Lamborghini Club America was running around shaking hands, but we caught him for a brief moment to ask him what some of his highlights of the event were. “Monterey Car Weekend is all about automotive camaraderie and so is Serata Italiana. The special moments for me were seeing so many Lamborghini Club members and friends coming together and Adam Carolla interviewing Valentino Balboni & Michael Lock – Automoblii Lamborghini past and present. The main highlight for me was sharing this special evening with President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. Stephan Winkelmann.”
