Shirley You Jest! Books Awards Announces Funny Finalists

Aug. 27, 2013 - PRLog -- LOS ANGELES, CA - Liz D Publicity & Promotions’ Shirley You Jest! Book Awards, the only comedy and humor indie book contest offering publicity-based prizes, announces its 2^nd annual 2013 fiction and non-fiction finalists.

The contest called for entries from independent authors, both published and self-published, who “bring the funny” to submit their 2012-2013 eBooks and print titles.  First round judges read and evaluated humorous books across a variety of genres, which include chick lit, experiential memoirs, mystery and sci-fi.  

The following titles are competing for Shirley LOL (1^st place) and Shirley HAH (2^nd place) Awards in their respective categories:

Winners are announced on November 1, 2012, National Author’s Day.
