Brandi's Basic Blend Spinning Batts

MILO, Maine - Aug. 27, 2013 - PRLog -- Brandi's Basic Blend Fiber spinning batts are amazing clouds of fiber goodness created by Brandi Schoch at Applebee's Acres - The Fiber of My Being.

The fiber comes in 10 different color ways and is a beautiful blend of corriedale wool, mohair and fire star ( a shiny dyeable nylon). Each fabulous 4 oz batt is hand dyed (each fiber getting it's own color) and then blended together in 1 oz batches on a drum carder.

This makes for a beautiful, fluffy and easy to spin fiber.

This fiber will felt beautifully. It is suitable for most projects including spinning. Fiber is not superwash and needs special care. Handwash in tepid water and lay flat to dry

We are a small farm in rural Maine. I was able to bring my love of animals and fiber together. Most of the animals are rescues. I've found them thru word of mouth and ads. I work with my local shelters to provide foster and permanent homes for these animals.
