Tecshoes with successful participation at FN Platform

Aug. 27, 2013 - PRLog -- Tecshoes, a Brazilian footwear manufacturer established in Nicaragua, participated in this year’s FN Platform in Las Vegas, Nevada from August 19^th to the 21^st . This event is North America’s most comprehensive footwear trade forum, presented by the MAGIC MARKET WEEK in partnership with Footwear News.

The platform connects the global fashion community at a single gathering, showcasing the full spectrum of footwear for men, women, juniors and children, across all categories, price points and trends.

Tecshoes’ participation included a stand for one of the brands they manufacture called Petite Jolie and also presented the company’s and Nicaragua’s investment opportunities for potential clients.

The prestigious Brazilian shoe manufacturer decided to invest in Nicaragua back in 2011, with an initial investment of US$6 million. Today they have invested over US$7.5 million and employ more than 650 people.

Tecshoes decided to invest in Nicaragua due to the country´s competitive advantages in the footwear industry. Some advantages include strategic location, preferential access to market, the most competitive cost structure in the region, access to a qualified labor force, a favorable business climate and attractive investment incentives.

Up to 2012, the footwear manufacturing industry in Nicaragua registered US$37.47 million in exports and US$21 million in investments.
