– Fowler White Boggs is pleased to announce that Craig T. Smith has joined the firm’s Tampa office as an associate and will practice in the Government, Environment and Real Estate Practice Group.
Mr. Smith focuses his practice on the representation of homeowners and condominium associations.
Craig’s background in real estate matters is diverse, including construction disputes, boundary disputes, landlord/tenant issues, association collections and lien foreclosures, covenant enforcement, and title-related litigation.
He also has experience drafting commercial lease agreements for clients. In addition, Craig has significant experience representing financial institutions in foreclosure/
eviction matters and is well-versed in the Protecting Tenants at Foreclosure Act and Florida’s homeowners/condominium association safe harbor statutes. Craig also represented financial institutions in the sale of their REO assets from contract through closing.
Mr. Smith is currently a member of the state bars of Florida and Tennessee. He received his B.A. from the University of Tennessee and his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law.
