LOS ALTOS, CA (August 15, 2013)   BridgePoint at Los Altos, a Kisco Senior Living community, is conducting a series of educational seminars on senior health that are sure to be packed with important information you won’t want to miss. Beginning on Friday, August 30^th at 4:30 p.m., join Alan Bell from Omnicare Pharmacy to learn about “Senior Medication Management and Adverse Effects”.  The event is open to the public and will be like an evening with your pharmacist so bring all your questions!

The education seminar planned for September is “Your Life. Your Legacy. The Importance of Making Your Final Arrangements in Advance and The Steps to Take.”  Presented by Lima Family Mortuary, the event will be held on Thursday, September 26^th at 5:00 p.m.  Coming in October is “Exercise & Memory” by Dr. Fairchild on the importance of exercise in our everyday living and how our memory can benefit from the effects of exercise.  “Senior Nutrition” will be the focus in November, outlining the nutritional challenges facing the elderly and the related healthcare risks..
