The tour is designed for perspective students and their parents only. The tour will give parents a look at the education that Bright Water School offers. Parents will get to see classrooms during regular school hours, give parents the opportunity to meet the faculty and staff, and allow the opportunity to meet other parents with children who attend the school. There is a tour for every grade level and space is limited, so you want to make sure you RSVP to guarantee your spot on the tour. Most tours start at 9AM and are over by 10:30 AM.
Bright Water School is located in the St. Nicholas building on the Capitol Hill in Seattle. The school has a full playground and gardens in the courtyard which has recently been renovated. Volunteer Park is also near the school and provides fields and open play options for the students at Bright Water School. Bright Water is a part of the growing Waldorf network in the Pacific Northwest. Students come from all over the metropolitan region to attend Bright Water. The school is an affiliate of the Association for Waldorf Schools of North America and the Pacific Northwest Association of Independent Schools.
Bright Water takes pride in giving students a unique educational experience. They offer their students a caring environment full of friendly experienced teachers and caring peers. The schools program offers a variety of different subjects and programs including art, music, languages, and basic academic courses. The school keeps their students number low to be able to work one on one with kids to teach them discipline, responsibility, and how to work together. Students who have attended Bright Water School have started at different levels and worked their way up to the eighth grade. Once they have graduated from the eighth grade, they have moved on to some of the best public and private high schools in the area.
