Follow on Google News | Flagler Chamber Rolls Out Member Referral ProgramThe Flagler County Chamber recently introduced a new program that will incentivize members for recruiting local businesses to join the Chamber. The Henry Flagler Referral Program is Chamber’s new initiative to grow membership through referrals.
By: Flagler County Chamber The program’s mascot, “Henry,” is a cartoon representation of Henry Morrison Flagler, the 19th century industrial tycoon who played a key role developing the eastern coast of Florida. The “Henry” program encourages Chamber members to recruit other businesses to join, and in return, referring members accrue points, earn levels of recognition and win awards for their participation. “The highest compliment an organization can receive is when its members refer their friends, family and associates,” All members are eligible and encouraged to participate in the program. Points can be earned from a number of activities, like bringing non-members to events, signing up local businesses to join and encouraging members to renew. In exchange for their participation, members can qualify for achievement levels, from Bronze to Elite, along with benefits and rewards that include lapel pins, gift cards, publicity, free admission to special events and advertising opportunities. Those who recruit the most new members will receive special recognition and awards: The Henry Leader of the Year Award, The Founders Award, Patron Award and Lifetime Henry Award. Program participants will be recognized at the Annual Installation Celebration in January 2014. For more information about the program and its benefits, contact Heather Thompson, director of membership by email or phone, 386.437.0106. End
