WHO
Chris Wark
, the President of Ponix designed the P-Pods after years of searching for ways to help plants thrive in all conditions. Chris is a mechanical engineer with 20+ years of multidisciplinary (mechanical, thermodynamic & electronics) engineering experience. For the past 12 years, he has focused on sustainable solutions in architecture and construction. He has consulted with corporations and universities, including Stanford’s Center for Integrated Facility Engineering (CIFE) program.

When Chris moved to an upper floor apartment in New York City in 2009, the need to design and build a serious plant enclosure for small spaces literally hit home. His balcony became a test bed for early prototypes of the P-Pods.
