Oaks Christian School Participates in The Honor Bowl on September 7 at Oceanside High School

Continuing its commitment to support U.S. veterans, Oaks Christian School will play Upland High School in The Honor Bowl presented by U-T San Diego.
 
WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. - Aug. 21, 2013 - PRLog -- Westlake Village, California—Oaks Christian School’s Varsity Football Team will travel to Oceanside, California, for the September 6 through 7 Honor Bowl Football Invitational and Military Expo.  The OCS Lions will play Upland High School on Saturday, September 7at 4:00 p.m.  The Honor Bowl is the first and largest high school football invitational on the West Coast with both Northern and Southern California events.  Participating in The Honor Bowl continues Oaks Christian School’s commitment to supporting the men and women who serve our country in the U.S. military.

The Southern California 2013 Honor Bowl will be held at Oceanside High School at 1 Pirates Way, Oceanside, California.  Twelve California football teams will play to recognize and support our military veterans.  Tickets for the Oaks Christian vs. Upland game are $10 for adults and $5 for students.  The two-day football invitational will also feature parachute drops, a food court, memorial wall, halftime shows, special guests, and more.  Oaks Christian School joins The Honor Bowl to support the work and mission of The Honor Group.  “The Honor Group is a group of individuals who leave a legacy of hope everywhere we go,” said The Honor Group Director Mark Soto.  “We work to empower veterans to transform their own lives by serving others and their communities.
