Tobacco Road Tours launches photography tour in Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C. - Aug. 24, 2013 - PRLog -- Tobacco Road Tours, in partnership with PERC Photography, is launching professionally guided photography tours for autumn in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Photography tours allow visitors and local residents alike an opportunity to hear the history behind a locale and incorporate that knowledge into the photographs taken from scenic spots.  A professional photographer teaches digital camera techniques throughout the tour which results in cityscapes of the area that can proudly be shared for years.

The Historic Downtown Raleigh Photo Tour begins September 9, 2013

Under the direction of Ted Salamone - a certified master photographer with more than 30 years of experience guests journey through historic downtown Raleigh, learning about its rich past, storied buildings, and how to capture all of it through their lens.

The tour includes a four-hour historic Raleigh photo walk plus HDR workshop with instruction on: camera settings, composition, proper tripod usage, software techniques and more.

Guests must bring their DSLR or advanced Point & Shoot camera (with Aperture or Manual modes), its manual, all lenses, spare fresh batteries, extra blank memory cards, and a tripod, camera manual, laptop and 4 GB USB drive.
