SCS Engineers Opens Office in Iowa

West Des Moines, IA – SCS Engineers is pleased to announce the opening of a new office in West Des Moines, Iowa.  The office enables SCS Engineers (SCS) to enhance delivery of solid waste and environmental services to our clients in the region. Clients include municipal and industrial solid waste disposal facilities, industrial manufacturing, mining, agricultural processing, and numerous other public or private entities.

Mike Classen will lead the new business center, which is staffed with regionally informed SCS professionals providing engineering and environmental services throughout Iowa and surrounding states. Mr. Classen himself has a demonstrated depth of regulatory, environmental, and engineering experience in a wide array of traditional and alternative solid waste disposal and industrial manufacturing facility design, construction, permitting, and compliance projects.
