Spotlite Radio Presents Dr. Maia Berger

NEW YORK - Aug. 21, 2013 - PRLog -- On Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at 11 am EST, Dr. Maia Berger will be a special guest on Spotlite Radio.  Dr. Berger will be educating her listeners about general dentistry and the areas that she is most profound in.  Oral hygiene is something a lot of people do not think too much about because they are so concerned with their everyday health; however, Dr. Berger will share with her listeners the affects of poor oral hygiene and things you can do to help it.

Another area that Dr. Berger is becoming more distinguished in is invisalign.  Invisalign is a custom made plastic peice that acts as braces. There is a continuous step to them, but they are beneficial for adult patients for they do not look as if they are braces to everyone since they are clear.  They go over your teeth and help to shift the teeth to make them straight.  Dr. Berger will share with her listeners about invisalign and how they are favorable to the patient.

Dr. Berger's last topic that she wishes to inform the listeners about is oral cancer screening.  This is a good idea for all patients to get because it will help in the prevention and they will be able to detect in before it becomes an extreme issue.  This is good to get every six months when you go for you routine check-ups.  Being recommended for every patient, it is highly encouraged for smokers to perfom an oral cancer screening especially if they have medical complications.
