PALM BEACH, Fla. - Aug. 20, 2013 - PRLog -- LatinFusion VIP Dinner, a special dinner gala, co-sponsored by Claudia Bartra of La Granja Restaurants, was recently held at the Hilton Hotel Ballroom in West Palm Beach to support Latino youth through ASPIRA and Palm Beach State College. The event was underwritten by main sponsor Lina Blanco-Jankus and co-sponsor Bartra of La Granja, meaning all funds that were raised through the event will go directly to support ASPIRA scholarships for Palm Beach State College.

This was an exciting event for La Granja to sponsor, as Claudia Bartra is a large supporter or The ASPIRA Association. ASPIRA is a 501C3 and the only national Hispanic organization that dedicates itself exclusively to developing and furthering the leadership and educational capacity of Hispanic youth. Organized in eight states and Puerto Rico, ASPIRA has been operating at the grass-roots level since 1961 to provide Hispanic students access to programs that will encourage them to stay in school, serve their community, and prepare them to succeed in leadership positions.

La Granja & Claudia Bartra: Co-Sponsors and Event Coordinators
Claudia Bartra, in addition to being a co-sponsor, was also an event coordinator for the LatinFusion VIP Dinner, which was an invitation only event. One hundred and forty-five hand selected guests who have proven to be cultivators for the Latin Community were invited to this incredible event that began with a Welcoming Reception Cocktail. This was followed by a breathtaking art expose by renowned artist Geri Olivares. Guests were then directed to a colorfully decorated ballroom where their taste buds were treated to an impressive 4-course sit down dinner. World famous saxophonist and singer, Andrea Farfan, an exotic Latino beauty who dazzles audiences with unforgettable saxophone melodies, provided the entertainment.

La Granja restaurants and co-founder, Claudia Bartra, are excited to come alongside organizations like ASPIRA that help promote the empowerment of the Latino and Puerto Rican communities. Claudia Bartra believes it is crucial to help nurture the intellectual, cultural and leadership skills of Latino youth so they may later on contribute their talents to their community.

La Granja opened their first restaurant in Aruba in 1993, and with its success, decided to introduce their homemade and delicious Peruvian cuisine to the residents and visitors of South Florida.
