The organic industry in India off late has been developing at a steady pace and is adding value to the agriculture industry and farmers. Rising health consciousness has led to rising demands in the country to adopt organic food over conventional food. Also, this has proportionally increased the issues/ doubts related to it. To suffice this requirement, the movements committed to promote organic farming are largely being supported and guided by esteemed international bodies like IFOAM Asia.

Currently many farmers are being highly benefited in the transition of organic farming, but there are still many out there who are hesitant to take it up.
