DTHINK.ORG Brings Creative Thinking To Urban Communities

Aug. 19, 2013 - PRLog -- NEW YORK, NY AUGUST 15, 2013 - DTHINK.ORG announced today the launch of their creative thinking and innovation institute. Through this initiative, DTHINK.ORG will offer workshops and host events that will introduce the principles of Design Thinking and Integrative Thinking™. Their boutique approach to training offers a Design Thinking education to an under-served demographic -- students, young professionals, entrepreneurs, and non-profit organizations. Most trained in Design Thinking hail from Fortune 500 companies, academic institutions, and government organizations seeking to increase skills in critical thinking and innovation. DTHINK.ORG looks to add to that specialized population by offering training to those who need it most.

DTHINK.ORG’s mission is to empower individuals and urban organizations to innovate, a vital skill needed to excel in the 21st century. In an age of a heightened sense of fear and failure, it is imperative to fortify innovation skills and thinking. Traditionally, organizations struggle when it comes to delivering this kind of innovative training. Through a 3, 6, or 10 week workshop series, participants will learn methods that inspire creativity and utilize tools to find solutions to real-world challenges. 

DTHINK.ORG’s curriculum is based on the principles of Design Thinking and Integrative Thinking™ -- techniques taught and used by the worlds most successful brands including Apple, Architect Frank Gehry, Cirque du Soleil, Disney, Google, IDEO, Nike, and numerous designers who create amazing products and services. DTHINK.ORG offers workshops that are highly interactive and individualized to provide participants with ways to harness their creativity, build leadership skills, and become agents of social change. 

DTHINK.ORG will launch their initial workshop series in New York and New Jersey beginning this fall. Additional offerings will take place throughout the tri-state, Philadelphia, PA and Miami, FL by summer 2014.
