Follow on Google News | VA Approves IMTI & Energy Systems LLC Solar PV & Other Green Trade Apprenticeship Training ProgramsWaterbury, Connecticut-based IMTI and ESST have secured approval from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for their apprenticeship training programs for "green jobs" as solar PV, electrical, electronics, HVAC and plumbing professionals.

The solar PV apprenticeship training program has been approved by the State of Connecticut Department of Labor and Department of Higher Education, WIA, NABCEP - North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners, and NCCER-National Center for Construction Education and Research. Our programs allow more properly-trained technicians to obtain new jobs with cutting-edge skills in solar industries.” ESST/IMTI’s solar PV apprenticeship training program covers the basics of electrical theory and safety, including a ten hour OSHA training specific to solar PV installation for system components, design considerations, site analysis, system installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
