The new products just launched by Garden Gear (Online) Ltd include patterned aprons, sun hats, tool belts and plant bags and a selection of four different types of gardening gloves.
The GardenGirl stand at Chelsea received a certificate of commendation from the RHS and created such a buzz the range was featured in the Daily Mail and Telegraph.
GardenGirl’s Swedish creator Petra Maison began designing ladies’ gardening wear five years ago. She explained: “GardenGirl offers women comfortable and stylish gardening products making gardening a pleasure.
“Our vision is to be the natural choice for women looking for innovative, functional and beautiful clothes and accessories for gardening.
“Our clothes are for every woman who enjoys working in, or dreams of having, a lovely garden.”
Garden Gear owner Emma Darban said: “We absolutely love GardenGirl’s range of products and are delighted to be one of the few companies stocking it in the UK.
“The accessories and gloves we are selling are beautiful but also functional and we believe they will make fantastic gifts or an indulgent treat for ladies who love their garden.
“Gardening is fast becoming a lifestyle choice for women of all ages rather than an occasional hobby and we believe in stocking the products which reflect that desire.”
Garden Gear is aiming to expand its GardenGirl range to include clothing in the future but can also source specific items based on customer demand at any point.
