How to stop fearing change with ease

3 steps to embrace change with ease Personal Development Innovator Dr Dain Heer, coming to Los Angeles October 4th 2013

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - Aug. 19, 2013 - PRLog -- LOS ANGELES, CA: Research by the American National Institute of Mental Health found 6.3 million Americans have been diagnosed with a phobia, with 90% of things feared considered to be insignificant issues and 60 % of the things feared were likely to never take place.  According to Dr Dain Heer, international speaker, personal development innovator and author of ‘Being You, Changing the World’, most people desire a different and better life, but refuse to change because of their worries.  “What if choosing to change could be easy?” he asks.

“We stay stuck in the life that doesn’t give us the career, the money, the joy, the sex, the relationships… the things we really want, because of fear of change” says Dr Heer who will be facilitating a workshop at the Los Angeles Convention Center on the 4th of October 2013.  “Many people stay in relationships that don’t work, because they are uncomfortable with being single. They keep a job because it pays the bills, rather than seeking work that brings pleasure.”

Three Very Different Strategies For Embracing Change
1.     Welcome Being Uncomfortable – What if discomfort is telling you that this is the change you have been looking for, showing up in a totally different way to what you thought it would?  “Uncomfortable is that gap where you have stripped away the limited points of view that were there, but you haven’t yet embraced the unlimited possibilities that are now available,” advises Heer.  “Acknowledge the change and your fear will begin to shift!”
2.     Stop Making Change Wrong – When you ask ‘what’s right about this I’m not getting?’ you begin to see the possibilities instead of the problems.  Dr Heer explains: “Change is the transition from living a life of less possibilities to living a life of more possibilities!”
3.     Create Your Future From Possibilities Not Limits – If you knew that your life could only expand and get better from today onwards, would you embrace change with more ease?  Dr Heer observes: “We habitually create our life from our limitations and the limits that other people project at us, rather than asking ‘what else is possible that I’ve never imagined?’“

Embracing change is about embracing your knowing.  Dr Heer states “When you see your discomfort as a level of awareness you haven’t had before, you can receive the information that will allow you to change your life (and the world!) with greater ease.” Dr Dain Heer offers more insights on embracing change in his book Being You, Changing the World available at amazon.com.  He will also be facilitating a workshop the Los Angeles Conference Center on October 4th, called “Being You, Changing the World – The Beginning”. This is a dynamic introduction to the teachings that have made Dr. Heer a well-sought workshop leader and speaker across the globe.
