Miss Luvlee about "Naked" "I think there are many people who can relate to my song "Naked". I wrote this song about a relationship where we both were very different, wanted different things in life, had a different background. We both needed to change to make it work, and some times it just doesn't work anyway. Time is passing by and no matter what you do or how much you change, it seems like it will always be "a little too late" because of the time you've lost trying. Love and hate are two very strong feelings that are out of your control and sometimes it's just a thin line separating them. Love turned into hate because of all the fighting and we lost track of the things we used to love about each other. It was hard to take a step back and realize that it didn't need to go this far but it was already to late and it was a hard lesson to learn. Naked is how you feel when there's nothing left, not even tears to cry, the emptiness and loneliness inside of you that eats you alive We have tried to capture the feeling of the song and the video through motion and using time-lapse footage as a metafore for time passing by and emotions and relations that changes” /Miss Luvlee About her music Her music has been labeled "Miami dreamy style" among other things and she's been compared to artists like Mariah Carey, Utada Hikaru and Kate Bush. The name Luvlee came from people calling her "Lovely" which became Luvlee" because of her sweet and angelic voice. She has co-written all of her songs and plays both piano and guitar on most of her songs. Her album is co-written with songwriters from Sweden, Japan and Russia and produced/mixed by Lars Frode Ryen for One Songs International. "For me music has become a diary…….. ……...a book with all my feelings written down, open for everyone to read.” "Music has been a soundtrack to my life as long as I can recall. I grew up sitting by the piano with my mom while she was playing. She was very sick and when I was round 3-4 years old she went into a coma. I used to sit at the piano and play all the songs we used to play together as a way to remember her, since then music has been about so much more than words to a melody, it's about memories. Later my mom woke up but had lost her memory, for her music became a way to remember again.
